Paul E. Curran

Paul E. Curran, 78, of Walker, W.Va., died March 19, 2002, at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was born Jan. 31, 1924, in Parkersburg, a son of the late Lewis W. and Letha H. Marlow
Curran.

He is survived by three stepsons, Jack Moore of Parkersburg, Oliver O. Bell Jr. and David W. Bell, both of Walker; five stepdaughters, Ruby Clegg of Parkersburg, Francis Whealdon of Cutler, Ohio, Ruth Ann Bell of Parkersburg, Nancy Lee Doane of
Interlachen, Fla., Patty Sue Ellis of Atlanta, Ga.; three brothers, Lewis Curran Jr. of Belpre, Russell C. Curran of Washington, W.Va., Donald V. Curran of Oxford; one sister, Hazel M. Collins of Elizabeth; 40 step-grandchildren; and 68 step-great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Moore Curran; stepdaughter, Ester Lemley; and two brothers, Leroy and Homer Curran.

Services will be held Friday 2:30 p.m. at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with Pastor David Adams officiating. Burial will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery, Walker, W.Va. Visitation will be today 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home
