Massena Woman Dies At Cornwall

Mrs. Roseanda Carriere Bissonnette, 43, wife of Joseph Bissonnette, 57 Douglas Road, died Monday afternoon at 4:40 in the Hotel Dieu in Cornwall. Mrs. Bissonnette had been in ill health for the past six months and had been in the hospital since December 6.

A daughter of Napoleon Carriere of Alfred, Ontario and the late Mrs. Carriere, she was born in Alfred on July 31, 1900.

She was married to Mr. Bissonnette April 17, 1922 and 17 years ago they moved to Massena where they have since made their home.

Surviving are her father, her husband, one son, Rheal, serving with the United States army overseas; three daughters, Electa, Larraine and Yvette, at home; three brothers, Bruno, Massena; Eugene and Edmund, Alfred; two sisters, Mrs. Albert (Blanche) Dore, Ottawa, Mrs. Rosario (Lydi) Carriere, Shoemaker, Ontario.
