LYN MAYO AINSWORTH

Lyn Mayo Ainsworth, 58, of Sparks, passed away January 22, 2004 at Washoe Medical Center. Lyn was born January 12, 1946 in Reno, and was a fifth generation native. She attended UNR and has worked for The Sign Company in Sparks for the past 12 years. She was a 1964 graduate of Reno High School and a member of the Reno High Alumni Association, the Gamma Phi Sorority, and was a patron of the arts.
Lyn is survived by son, Curt Ainsworth and daughter, Tami Ainsworth, both of Sun Valley, brother Hal Cusick, Idaho, and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Owen and Mary Louise (Mayo) Cusick.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 28th at 11:00 a.m. at Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd, 501 California Avenue, Reno. Visitation hours are scheduled for Tuesday, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Walton Funeral Home, 875 W. Second St. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 2680, North Canton, OH 44720 or Washoe ARC, 790 Sutro, 89512. Arrangements are under the direction of Walton Funeral Home in Reno.
