Death today came to Mrs. Earl Bartow, 42, who was critically burned Wednesday morning when her dress, soaked with cleaning fluid, burst into flame as she worked over a kitchen stove. Mrs. Bartow, still conscious, was rushed to St. John's Hospital shortly after the accident when neighbors found her, hair and dress leaping with fire, in the back yard of her home at 715 Park.
