James Paul Cusick, 86 years of age, of Weymouth, entered Life Eternal at his home on Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014. He was born in Boston, raised in Dorchester where he met the love of his life, Eunice Mimi OBrien. Jim was A WWI Veteran. After serving in both the Navy and Marines, he married and settled in Weymouth with Mimi, where they lived for over 60 years. He was a retired yardman for the MBTA. Survived by his daughter, Donna Brandolini, married to Gino of Whitman, and his son, Brian Cusick, married to Anne, of Weymouth. Dearly missed by his brother, Robert Cusick, of Dorchester and his sister Marie Clasby, of Brockton; brother of the late Phyllis Connolly. Jim is also survived by his grandchildren, Tina, Megan, Kelsi, Tom, Kelly and Jack; and four great grandchildren. Each person who knew Jim was among the luckiest on earth. Jim was the true embodiment of the Greatest Generation. He is one who served his country, gave back to his community and provided for his family with love, encouragement and kindness, for those who wish. the family asks that you honor Jim with a donation to your favorite charity. Jim was buried at the Old North Cemetery, North Weymouth. (The Peck Funeral Home)
