Grace Blake, 90 passed way May 27, 2012 in a local hospital after a five week illness. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church since 1948 where she worked in the Nursery for 20 years. She was a babysitter for many years which helped fund missionary trips for her husband. She was a very generous person and loved to teach her grandchildren bad habits. She is survived by her son, James Darrell Blake and wife, Mary; daughter, Patricia Sue Fontenot of Sulphur; Georgia Ann Brumley and husband, Michael of The Woodlands, TX; 14 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Allen Blake; parents, Richard and Anna Cutrer; son-in-law, Buddy Fontenot; brothers, Alton Cutrer, Norman Cutrer, Clayton Cutrer, Clyde Cutrer and Herbert Cutrer.
The funeral was held Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at Trinity Baptist Church. The Rev. Steve James officiated. Visitation will was at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Burial is in Prien Cemetery.
