Mary, of Lansing, Michigan, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday. She was born to Gilbert and Carrie (Wagoner) Tracy.

Mary was a member of Central Free Methodist Church for over 80 years. She worked as a secretary for the State of Michigan, Department of Treasury.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, Orville Dafoe; two sons, Leonard O. Dafoe (Carla Haenlein) and Bruce A. Dafoe; a daughter, Janet (Philip) Scarborough; 5 Grandchildren; 7 Great-Grandchildren; and a sister, Arlene (Loyal) Dean.

She was preceded in death by her two brothers, Bertrand Tracy and Marvin Tracy.

Mary was a skilled seamstress who made many of her own beautiful dresses.

Funeral Service were Friday, March 11, 2011 at Central Free Methodist Church, Lansing with Rev. Bruce N.G. Cromwell, PhD officiating.

In lieu of flowers, gifts in Mary's memory may be made to Central Free Methodist Church.

The family is being served by Tiffany Funeral Home.
