Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Our Savior's Lutheran Church for Marie Bannon, 86, of Prineville, who died Friday at St. Charles Memorial Hospital in Bend.
Mrs. Bannon was born September 26, 1886, in Tracy, Minnesota. She married Edward L. Bannon October 5, 1909, who preceded her in death in 1968. Mrs. Bannon has made her home in Prineville since moving from Hillsboro in 1957.
She is survived by four sons, Melvin, Lawrence and Dale, all of Prineville, and Eldon of Battle Creek, Michigan; a daughter, Lillian Humeniuk of Prineville; a sister, Mabel Swenhagen of Westbrook, Minnesota; 16 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by a son, Otis.
Rev. Karsten Baalson will officiate at the services, and interment will be in Juniper Haven Cemetery. Arrangements are by the Prineville Funeral Home. The family would appreciate memorials to Our Savior's Lutheran Church.
