Obituary Notice - Western World - April 1995:
A funeral service for Aili A. Dahl will be held Thursday, April 6, at 2 p.m. at Amling-Schroeder Bandon Chapel. Pastor Tom Hutton will officiate. The casket will be open Wednesday evening at the Amling-Schroeder Chapel in Bandon for friends and family. Private interment will be at the IOOF Cemetery in Bandon, followed by a gathering of family and friends at Lloyd's at 3 p.m. Mrs. Dahl died April 1 in Bandon at the age of 81.
A native of Michigan, she and Melvin A. Dahl were married in Seattle on December 24, 1940. They moved to Bandon in 1947 from Vancouver, Washington. They bought Lloyd's Cafe in 1953 and worked together in the operation of the restaurant and lounge for many years. Melvin preceded her in death April 16, 1987.
