Ella Land Daniel, 94, wife of seventy-four years to the late Horace Daniel, went to be with the Lord Thursday, December 3, 2008.

Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Harley and Sally Land.

Mrs. Daniel retired from Wagner Systems/Brandon Mills after forty-eight years of service.

She is survived by a daughter, Barbara Craig and her husband Jimmy; two grandchildren, Connie Waldrop and her husband, Brian, of Easley, and Christi Laws and her husband, Bobby, of Greenville; three great-grandchildren, Bretny Craig, Courtney Harvell, and Drake Laws; and soon to be, Drayton Laws; and family friend, Linda DuBose of Simpsonville, who Ella called her second daughter.

She was predeceased by two sisters and one brother.

The funeral service will be held Friday, December 5, 2008, at 1 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest Chapel.
Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11 to 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, West.
