Mrs. Anna Daniel, widow of J. G. Daniel, an old resident, died Saturday night at the family residence, 713 East Ninth street. Since last December Mrs. Daniel had been ill of Bright's disease. Mrs. Daniel was seventy-one years of age and was a native of New Albany, where she had lived all of her life. She was a daughter of the late John Seston, a pioneer of the city. With the death of Mrs. Daniel, her sister-in-law, Miss Harriet Daniel of Shoals, Ind., is the last survivor of the charter members of the Third Presbyterial church, which was organized sixty years ago. At the time of her death she was a member of the Board of Deaconesses and for twenty years she was treasurer of the Women's Foreign Missionary Society. She also was teacher in the Sunday school for many years.
