Helen Sherman, 98, of Rhinebeck, NY, died Wednesday, November 17, 2004 at the Ferncliff Nursing Home in Rhinebeck.
She and her late husband moved to Poughkeepsie from Jersey City, NJ in 1947. Mrs. Sherman moved to Rhinebeck in 1983.
Born September 1, 1906, in Jersey City, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Mary Danyi.
She married Albert E. Sherman on August 29, 1925 in Jersey City, NJ. Mr. Sherman died on March 27, 1982.
She is survived by one son: Albert R. Sherman of Rhinebeck, a grandson and his wife, Kevin & Pam Sherman of Staatsburg, a grandson, Keith Sherman of W. Palm Beach, FL; and 2 great grandsons, Christopher and Victor Sherman of Staatsburg.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 AM on Saturday, Nov. 20th, in the Chapel at Ferncliff Nursing Home in Rhinebeck. Burial will be at Rhinebeck Cemetery.
