MRS. GABRIELLA (DANYI) KOOR , 70, of Wilkes-Barre, passed into Eternal Life early Saturday, March 28, 2009 in the Inpatient Unit of Hospice Community Care, Geisinger South Wilkes-Barre. Born April 30, 1938 in Secove, Czechoslovakia, she was a daughter of the late Josef and Anna (Turtakova) Danyi. She was preceded in death by her husband, Josef; and brother, Otto Danyi. Surviving are her son, Robert J. Benci; daughter, Yvette Mahon; granddaughter, Brianna Mahon; several nieces and nephews locally and in Europe.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. from the John V. Morris-Charles J. Leagus Funeral Home, 281 E. Northampton St., Wilkes-Barre Heights, with the Rev. David R. Betts officiating.
