"MARYLAND. Last rites for Mrs. Clayton Ritton were conducted Friday afternoon of last week at the Tillapaugh Funeral home at Maryland. The Rev. J. Hamill, pastor of the Maryland Christian church, officiated. The body was placed in the Maryland vault to await burial in McKown cemetery ... Anna (Darling) Ritton was born May 16, 1871, in Decatur, a daughter of William Henry and Louise (Lovejoy) Darling, and November 24, 1897, was married to J. Clayton Ritton of Worcester. Surviving, besides her husband, are a son, Harold Ritton, Warnerville; two daughters, Miss Ethel Ritton, Oneonta, and Mrs. Pearl Ross, Maryland; three grandsons, Delos and Dale Ritton, Warnerville, and Malcolm Ross, Maryland; and several nieces, nephews and cousins."
