Dr. A Todd Davis, age 74, passed away after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. Beloved husband of Jane Spector Davis. Loving father of Arnold (Julie Turk), Tony (Laura), Andrew (Patrick O'Brien) and Elizabeth (Jeff Saltzman). Proud "Papa" to grandchildren Ellie, Michael, Hannah, Leah, Audrey and Evelyn. Dear brother of Sheila (the late Travis) Linn and fond uncle of John and Travis Linn. A revered pediatrician, he was an Emeritus Professor of Pediatrics, Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. At Lurie Children's Hospital for over 40 years, he cared deeply for his patients, educated several generations of pediatricians, and served many leadership roles including Division Head of General Academic Pediatrics. He received many honors, including being named Faculty Mentor of the Year in 2011. The A Todd Davis Professor of Pediatrics Chair was created in his honor. Service Wednesday 1:30PM at Anshe Emet Synagogue, 3751 N. Broadway, Chicago, IL 60613. Interment Rosehill. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the A Todd Davis, MD Lectureship Fund, Lurie Children's Hospital , 225 E. Chicago Ave., Chicago, IL 60611 or Anshe Emet Synagogue.
