Robert E. Davis, age 86, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2014. He was born October 20, 1927 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Robert H. and Lida Davis. He was an avid bowler and took part in the Wednesday Early Bird and Monday Senior Bowling Leagues at Stardust Lanes. Bob also enjoyed golfing at Oakhurst Country Club. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by wife Rose Elizabeth "Liz" Davis and sisters Doris and Wanda. Bob is survived by daughters, Patricia (James) Young and Charlene Gardner; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; sister, Joann Baer; brother, Roy (Laura) Davis; special friend Joe (Laura); and many nieces and nephews, other relatives and dear friends. Calling hours 3-7 p.m. Sunday, January 12, 2014 at the SCHOEDINGER GROVE CITY CHAPEL, 3920 Broadway, Grove City, where the funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Monday.
