Frankie held office in several organizations such as Order of the Eastern Star, Zonata International, and Garden Club. Beyond participating in activities at church, Frankie and Willis enjoyed social clubs that included bridge, canasta, and forty-two.
In 1982 they moved to San Antonio and became members of St. Mark's United Methodist Church.
Frankie was active in United Methodist Women, received her 15-year service pin from the Blue Bird Auxiliary at Methodist Hospital, and enjoyed playing in multiple bridge clubs.
She was at the forefront of family gatherings and played all types of games.
A comment often heard from her great-grandchildren was "My Great Grandmother won again!"
