Daughter of Marvin Augustus Davis and Alice Marie (Clough) Davis.
Mother of David T. Ayers, Regina A. Bradley, and Katherine Marie Pusey.
Mrs. Ayers was an EMT/ambulance attendant for Magnolia Fire House, where she also was a life member of the Magnolia Ladies Auxiliary.
She also worked at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital and Peninsula Regional Medical Center in the medical records department for many, many years.
She also was very proud to have worked for ILC and to be part of the making of the first uniform for astronaut Neil Armstrong.
She loved to sit and watch birds. She enjoyed her fish pond that her daughter, Kathy, and son-in-law, Tom, designed and built for her. She also had a green thumb for house plants.
Mrs. Ayers volunteered with the state of Delaware as a foster parent and foster grandparent, and was happy to have touched so many lives.
