Mrs. Freddie Collins was born August 4, 1904 at Samford, Missouri and died February 6, 1987 in Carson City, Nevada. She was 82.
Mrs. Collins was the daughter of the late Wyley Davis of Steele and Anna Samford Davis of Samford. She was reared in Steele by her father and stepmother, Mrs. Nannie Campbell Davis. Mrs. Collins was married to Louis Collins, who preceded her in death. She was a sister-in-law of Frank Collins of Steele and Arthur Collins of Dyer, Tennessee.
A long-time resident of Holland, Mrs. Collins lived there until 1956 when she moved to Caruthersville. In 1968, she moved to Carson City.
Mrs. Collins is survived by three sons: Clyde and John of Carson City and Kenny of Carmichael, California, and six grandchildren.
Graveside services were held February 9, 1987 at Lone Mountain Cemetery in Carson City with Rev. Roy C. Dowling officiating.
