Alfred “Freddy Bull” Ray Davis of Nixon, Nevada was born on March 22, 1959 and passed on September 28, 2014. He was born in Schurz, Nevada to Clifford Davis and the late Adeline (Lowery) Davis. He was a loving Father to Clayton Davis, Amanda Louise Davis and Cadence Rey Davis. He was a proud, caring and supportive Grandfather to Dejalyne Rae Gopher, Arden Etza’a Davis, Azahni Monroe Dennison, E’Alianna Jonette Dennison, and Sara Ann Davis. Loving brother to the Late James Duane Davis, Janet Diane Davis, and Jacqueline Jeanne Davis-Cawelti.

Freddy Bull graduated in 1977 from Fernley High School where he excelled in Football and received several accolades and was named “The Lineman of the Year 1977”, he played Basketball, and threw shot put in Track and Field, and was also in the Future Farmers of America. Fred was a boxer, he won the Junior Olympics Lightweight division and was the Golden Gloves Lightweight division Champion at the age of 16.

Fred was a Wild Horse Racer, he traveled throughout the Western States competing in PRCA Rodeos. Fred coached the Pyramid Lake Warriors Boxing Club a youth boxing team. Through the years he worked for U.S. Fish and Wildlife Services, later working as a heavy equipment operator, he was an active member of the Emergency Response Team becoming the Chief of the Pyramid Lake Volunteer Fire Department until about 2011. Fred was a rancher/farmer in the Fernley, Wadsworth, and Nixon areas until the time of his passing. He was a very active and supportive member of our local communities as he volunteered for the Reno Rodeo Association, he was the community BBQ Chef, Santa Claus, most recently he was proud to be part of the Chain Gang for the Fernley High School Vaqueros Football games. Freddy Bull was there for anyone that needed a helping hand. He was a loving Son, Father, Brother, Nephew, Uncle, and Grandfather, he will be greatly missed.
