BALLARD, Shirley Ann - Passed away peacefully at the Brantford General Hospital on Saturday, June 11th, 2011 in her 65th year. Beloved wife of the late Donald Ballard (2004). Devoted mother of Darrin Ballard (Peggy Anne). Much loved daughter of Glen and the late Phyllis Dawes (1983). Dearest sister of Glenna Houliston, Wayne Dawes and Barbara Del Signore. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews and their families. Sister in law of Larry Ballard of Victoria, B.C. Shirley dedicated her life to caring for others. The family will receive friends at the DENNIS TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford on Tuesday June 14th, 2011 from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 12- 1:00 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place. Donations in memory of Shirley may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society and would be greatly appreciated by the family
