Kenneth Charles Dawes age 55 of Vero Beach, passed away on March 4, 2013 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach, FL. Kenneth was born on December 6, 1957 in Denver Colorado to Paul and Maxine Dawes. He has lived in Vero Beach for the past 15 years moving here from Key West, FL.

Kenneth was a member of the Royal Hibernians.

He was the owner operator of the Black Pearl Ramp Raw Bar and Grill until hurricane Charlie destroyed it.

He was active in weight lifting, and loved the beach and fishing. Kenneth had a very deep religious belief that he nurtured on a daily basis.

Kenneth leaves to cherish his memory his daughters, Tiffany Matteucci of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Satine Dawes of Tequesta, FL; his brother, Bruce Lyon of Vero Beach, FL. His faithful companions “Creed” and “Wonder”.

A Celebration of Kenneth’s life will be held on Sunday March 10 10am to 3:30 pm at the Vista Royale Pine Arbor Club 400 Woodland Drive, Vero Beach, FL.

The family is requesting that donations be made in Kenneth’s name to VNA Foundation 1110 35th Lane Vero Beach, FL 32960-4801 for Replacing Fish in the Pond at Hospice House.
