Dawes--Lola Dawes, 88, of Cheyenne, died on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at the Davis Hospice Center.
She was born on May 25, 1925 in Montesano, Washington and had lived here for 16 years.
Lola worked at Sears in Seattle, was an organ and piano instructor, and volunteered for 10 years at the Burke High Rise serving meals.
Mrs. Dawes was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Dawes; a grandson; and her parents, Guy and Ella May (Pontius) Simmons.
Services will be Sunday, 2:00 p.m., at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel with Pastor Jim Rayls officiating.
Cremation will follow at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
