Mary Lou Bloomingburg, age 82, of Reidland, KY, died Sunday, January 1, 2012, at Morningside Assisted Living in Paducah, KY. She was a retired bus driver for the McCracken County School System and a member of Briensburg Church of Christ.
She was the daughter of the late Silas F. Dawes and the late Altie (Egner) Dawes.
She is survived by: Two Daughters: Judy Holloway, husband Jim, Paducah, KY, Jenna Pilant, husband Danny, Benton, KY; One Brother: Ray J. Dawes, Cottonwood, TN; and grandchildren: Jill Holloway Smith, husband Ryan, Lexington, KY, Jamie Holloway, Lexington, KY, Emily Pilant Holley, husband Brandon, Benton, KY, and Kyler Pilant, Benton, KY.
She was preceded in death by her husband: James "Jim" L. Bloomingburg, brother: Guy S. Dawes, and sister: Lucyle Mobley.
Arrangements are being handled by Collier Funeral Home, P.O. Box 492, Benton, KY.
Funeral service will be at Collier Funeral Chapel at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, January 4, 2012, Gary Knuckles officiating.
Interment will follow at Provine Cemetery, Benton, KY.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 3, 2011 between the hours of 5:00 and 8:00 p.m.
