Mitzie was born July 23, 1917 in Cresco, Iowa, the daughter of Albertus and Harriet Tillapaugh Dawley. She married Robert Crippen Bickley November 13, 1938 in Cedar Falls. He died February 28, 1985.
Maizie attended school in Waterloo.
Her survivors include a daughter Sandra Kay Bickley or Waterloo; a sister Doris Quinn of Cedar Falls; and 5 nieces: Robin Arnold of Cedar Falls, Sharyn Forbes of Evansdale, Linda Martin of Waterloo, Kathryn Riley of Waterloo, and Cheryl Shannon of Waterloo.
She is preceded in death by a sister Lucille Quern.
