Frances "Nana" Bennett age 84 of Gautier, MS passed away at her home March 5, 2014 surrounded by family. Mrs. Bennett was born March 13, 1929 in Auburn, NY. to Willis and Eva Leslie Dawley. She loved playing bingo. Nana's favorite pastime was spending time with her family, especially all of her grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Clifford Bennett Jr. April 19, 2003.
Among her survivors are three sons; Charles Bennett III of Gautier, MS, Timothy Bennett of New York and Joe Cavanaugh of Gautier, MS; three daughters, Victoria Franklin, Charlene Sasser, Brenda Ladnier all of Gautier; 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, 2 and half great-great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will Monday, March 10, 2014 at Gautier O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home at 11:00 with visitation one hour prior to service. Interment will be at Vancleave Cemetery #1. Those who would like may express their condolences online at www.obryantokeefe.com
