By the 1940 Census it stated that she had lived in the same home since 1935 and she now owned her own home on 2nd Street, valued at $1,500.00.
On the California Death Index record for Amelia, it listed her birth as being in IOWA while all other census records stated that she was born in WISCONSIN.
