Dexter, Oct. 26.—Mrs. Mary Arnold, wife of Francis Arnold of this village, died Tuesday evening at her home after an illness of three weeks, from a breakdown caused by nervous disorders, aged 66 years, one month and 13 days. The funeral will be held Thursday at 2:30 p. m.. from the home, Rev. J. S. Dickenson, pastor of the Presbyterian church, officiating, assisted by Rev. Robert Wright, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church. Interment will be in Dexter cemetery.
Mrs. Arnold had been a resident of Dexter for the past 18 years, her husband being a retired farmer. Surviving besides her husband are one son, William H. Arnold of Watertown; three sisters, Mrs. Robert Shaw and Mrs. Dennis Cross, both of Athens, N.Y., and Mrs. George Truesdale of Gananoque, Ontario.
