Services for Mrs. Lulu E. Applin of 145 Englert Ave., who died last night at her home, will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday in the Calvary Episcopal Church. The Rev. W. Wesley Konrad, Episcopal chaplain at Syracuse University, will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Born in Syracuse, Mrs. Applin was a member of the Altar Guild of the Calvary Episcopal Church; Syracuse Chapter 70, OES; and Past Mighty Chosen One of Kedar Kahn Kaldron. Surviving are her husband, Harry Applin; a son, Donald S. Applin; two brothers, John F. and George W. Day; and two grandchildren. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at the Welter Funeral Home. Ladies of the Altar Guild of the Calvary Episcopal Church will receive communion at the requiem service.
