Larry Dellworth De Mille was the eldest child of Wallace Dellworth and Maude Nerene (Riding) De Mille of St.George, Washington County, Utah. They had married on July 24, 1940, and Larry had been born on May 5th, 1941. It was exactly 2 months until his 3rd birthday and, from what it says on his death certificate, Larry was playing with another child (a baby?) when he accidentally ingested some wheat that was poisoned with cyanide. His panicked parents rushed him to McGregor's Hospital in St.George, but there was nothing that could be done. The poor child died an hour after arriving at the institution. The parents were grief stricken and buried their son at the Orderville Cemetery for there was nothing else they could do. Wallace was just 27 yrs. old and Maude was only 23 yrs. of age when their son passed away, but the effect must have been devastating. Larry left behind the following siblings: Lynn, Glenn, Nerene, Lloyd and Stan. I believe they are all still alive as I have not found them on Find A Grave. Their father, however, passed from this life July 21, 1979 and is buried at the St.George City Cemetery in St.George, Washington County, Utah. I believe their mother is still alive as she is not interred there and Larry's parents have a double headstone. She was b.May 27th, 1920. Her maiden name was Maude Narene Riding.
Larry's grandfather is Conrad Ozro De Mille (1895-1975). His great grandfather is Ozro De Mille, (1863-1942). His great-gt. grandfather is Oliver De Mille, (1830-1908), and his gt.gt.gt grandfather is Freeborn De Mill, (1795-1881). Just follow the father's links all the way back (and you will see the grandmothers, too).

I have written this memorial as correctly as possible but I don't have any of Larry's siblings dates of birth. If anyone has that information to share, I would appeciate it and will give them credit for doing so. If I have made any errors, please advise me via the edit tab and I will correct them asap. Thank you for allowing me to be human, just for today. With all sincerity, Kathie L.Webb Blair

Little Larry's mother, Maude, passed from this life on Jan 9th, 2014 and was buried at Saint George City Cemetery, in St. George, Washington Co., Utah, next to her 1st husband and Larry's father, Wallace. Maude had remarried so was listed under her 2nd husband's last name of Bowers. However, she is still Larry's mama so is now listed with him which is as it should be. With all Sincerity, Kathie L.
