FITCHBURG - Celia M. (Davis) DeBarge, 82, of 66 Highland Ave. died yesterday in Burbank Hospital after she was stricken ill at home.
Her husband, Henry W. DeBarge, died in 1957. She leaves a son, James A. DeBarge; a daughter, Judith Ann Patton, both of Fitchburg; four grandchildren; nephews and nieces. She was born in Fitchburg, daughter of Leon F. and Rosanna (Turcotte) Davis.
Mrs. DeBarge was a supervisor at the former Independent Lock Co., where she worked for 10 years. Se retired in 1960. She was a member of St. Bernard's Church.
The funeral will be held tomorrow from Smith-Mallahy Funeral Home, 243 Water St., with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Bernard's Church, 240 Water St. Burial will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are 7 to 9 tonight. Flowers may be sent, or memorial contributions may be made to the National Shrine of St. Jude, Claretian Missionaries, 205 West Monroe St., Chicago, Ill. 60606; or may be left at the funeral home.
