Angelina J. "Cookie" (Romano) DeFeo, 77, of Ellington, beloved wife of the late Fernando "Fred" DeFeo passed away, Tuesday, April 22, 2014. She was born June 10, 1936 in Bronx, NY, the daughter of the late Mary (Esposito) Romano. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Fionna DeFeo of Vernon; her sister, Emily Basilone of NY; and her granddaughters, Ashley and Victoria DeFeo. She also leaves her dear friends, Guy and Elaine. Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, April 25, 2014 at the Burke-Fortin Funeral Home, 76 Prospect St. Rockville, CT 06066. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at St. Luke's Church, 141 Maple St. Ellington, CT 06029. Entombment will follow at Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery in Bloomfield.
