Son of the late Pellegrino and Mary DeFeo, he was a veteran of the United States Army Air Force (WWII). He was survived by his wife, Janet DeFeo; children, William DeFeo (Gail), Richard DeFeo (Madeline) and Joan Rogers (Craig); nine grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and an extended family of relatives and friends. A Funeral Mass was held on May 11, 2016, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Elmsford, NY.
