Tillie had two daughters with Rudolph Tiedeman in the 1930's, Shirley and Mildred.

A licensed practical nurse, she worked at Gnaden Huetten Hospital in Lehighton;
Florence Nightingale Home; and Cedarbrook in Allentown. She retired from
Cedarbrook in 1972. She later worked for several years as a security
policewoman in the Pleasant Valley School District.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church (Heights) in Jim Thorpe, and
the Sun Valley Volunteer Fire Company.

Surviving are two daughters, Shirleyann Bennyhoff of Jim Thorpe, and Mildred
Andrews of Lehighton; two stepsons, David Bellesfield of Whitehall, and Donald
Bellesfield of Emmaus; three sisters, Mary DeAngelis and Annetta LaRizzio, both
of Nesquehoning, and Iva Griffiths of Rochester, N.Y.; one brother, Edward
DeHaven of Allentown; six grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and seven
great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother, Charles
DeHaven.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 13, at St. John's Lutheran
Church, South Ave., Jim Thorpe. The Rev. Sara Ehrets will officiate. Burial will be
in Nesquehoning Protestant Cemetery.

A viewing will take place from 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, at William H. Kresge
Funeral Home, Route 209, Brodheadsville, and from 9 a.m. until time of the
service on Monday, at the church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sun Valley Volunteer Fire Company,
Effort, PA 18330.
