Ruth Denmark Barksdale Broegler, 31, wife of Henry Broegler, died suddenly at her residence, 1503 West Forty-seventh street, yesterday morning at 5 o'clock. She was the daughter of the late James and Mrs. Elizabeth Swindell Denmark, a native of Wayne County, Ga., but had been a resident of Norfolk for the past four years. Surviving her besides her husband and one sister, Mrs. J.J. Lacey, of Norfolk, and one brother, M.H. Denmark, of Savannah, Ga.
Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home of James V. Derry, 346 West Princess Anne road, tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 o'clock. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
