Mrs. Janette Denmark, age 72 of Dawson, died Sunday, February 27, 2011 in the Phoeby-Sumter Hospital in Americus after an extended illness. She was a native of Uvalda, living in Apopka, Florida and Helena, Georgia most of her life, and has resided in Dawson for the past eight years. She was a homemaker, and was preceded in death by her husband James Roberson, and a son Curtis Franklin White.

Mrs. Denmark is survived by two sons, Eddie Norman White of Albany, and Robin S. White and wife Pam of Dawson; two daughters, Star White and Melody White Duke both of Dawson; one brother Wallace Denmark and wife Dorothy of Vidalia; one sister Cora A. NeeSmith of Brunswick; nine grandchildren, and nineteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 3rd at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Reverend Henry Dowd officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6:00 until 8:00.
