Theda Denmark Black, 67, of Fort Pierce, FL passed away on Tuesday April 14, 2015 at Treasure Coast Hospice.
She was born on November 1, 1947 in Fort Pierce, FL and a native of Saint Lucie County. Theda attended the public schools of Saint Lucie County an a graduated of Lincoln Park Academy Class of 1967.
She was a member of Immanuel Full Gospel Baptist Church where she served as an usher and crafts with kids. Theda was a member of Gamma Phi Delta Sorority, Inc.
Survivors include her daughters, Jacqueline Jones of Port Saint Lucie, FL; Stephanie Denmark and Tamara Black of Fort Pierce, FL; sisters, Julia Randolph Boston (Homer), Maggie Grier, Bernice McDonald, Lillie Knight (Isaac) of Fort Pierce, FL; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Theda was preceded by her parents, Henrietta Speed and James Denmark, brothers, Carnell Denmark, James Denmark, Aaron Denmark, Willis Denmark, sisters, Corine Newson,, Emma Morris, Juanita Ganious, Clara Kleckley, and the first granddaughter Jahida Black.
Funeral Service: Immanuel Full Gospel Baptist Church, 1200 North 25th Street, Ft. Pierce, FL.
Burial: Pine Grove Cemetery.
