Obit: Aged 69, of 3855 Pacific Avenue, Long Beach; widow of Judge Walter Desmond, passed away at St. Mary's Hospital, Long Beach, December 23. Prior to her marriage to Desmond in November 1922, the widow worked as a bank clerk to support her children Mary and Wayne Hanson. She is survived by sons, Walter Jr., Gerald and Richard Desmond and Dr. Wayne Hanson; daughters, Olive Desmond, Mrs. Mary McGinnis, Mrs. Constance Bond, Mrs. Eleanor Maloney and Mrs. Edith Daley; sister, Mrs. Josephine Bombardiner; brothers, John V. Snider of Long Beach, Howard J. and William L. Snider of Pennsylvania; 29 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
