Gloria A. Davis, 67, died Tuesday at Hospice Home of Norhteast Indiana. Born in Monroeville, she formerly lived near Angola and retired as the owner of Ashley Copper Kettle Restaurant in Ashley in 1989 after 11 years. Surviving are her husband, Gail E.; a son, Kirk E. of Angola; two daughters, Vickie Jean Conley of Auburn and Lucinda L. Shafer of Fort Wayne; six sisters, Helen Williams of Columbia City, Roberta Gerardot of Monroeville, Mary Royston of Albion, Mich., Anita Eldred of Homer, Mich., Joyce Jones of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Sue Lees of Oldsmar, Fla.; two brothers, William DeWert of Tallahassee, Fla., and Wayne DeWert of Rincon, Ga.; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Services at 1 p.m. Saturday at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville, with calling 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. Burial in Monroeville Memorial Cemetery. Memorials to National Kidney Foundation.
