Annie Allison
Salem -- Annie May Allison, 87, of Blossom Lane, died at 7:45 p.m. Thursday, May 2, 2002, at Salem Community Hospital. She was born in East Liverpool, Oct. 26, 1914, a daughter of the late Herbert Lee Dexter and Elsie May Mills. She had been employed at the former TS&T Pottery and was a member of the Salvation Army Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Allison; and a son, James Allison. She is survived by a son, Ennis 'Joe' Allison of Wellsville; three daughters, Shirley Green of East Liverpool, Cecilia Austin of Ada, Okla., and Betty Glynn of Salem; a sister, Margaret J. Blystone of East Liverpool; 19 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and five great great-grandchildren. Captain Tom Hinzman, Major Beeman, Major Miller and Al Voorhis will conduct the services at 11 a.m. Monday at Stark Memorial Funeral Home. Burial in Columbiana County Memorial Park. Visitation is 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday.
