Alfred Tillman "Lefty" Dietz, 84, of Longview Terrace, passed away Monday, November 11, 2013 at Baptist Easley Hospital.

Born in Russell, KS, the son of the late Fred and Helen Deinis Dietz, Mr. Dietz was formerly employed with Frontier Airlines in Denver, CO, and later retired from Lockheed in Greenville. He was a member of St. Matthias Lutheran church and a veteran of the US Air Force.

Surviving are his wife, Sharon Breen Dietz of the home; three daughters, Valerie Dietz Davis (Bob) of Augusta, GA, Vonda Dietz McGinnis (Kirk) of Boise, ID, and Shella Dietz Davis of Easley; grandchildren, Jordan Davis, Jaycie Davis, Jeramie Davis, Jr., Kristi Davis, Michelle Davis Roberts, Tamara Jo McGinnis Kindall, Brandon McGinnis, Bradly McGinnis, and Kirk Ray McGinnis. In addition to his parents, Mr. Dietz was predeceased by a daughter, Stephanie Ann Dietz, by three sisters, Elnora Willmann, Isabell Bratton and Leila Lundberg, and by a son-in-law, Jeramie Davis, Sr.

Funeral services will be at 3:30 PM Friday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road. Burial, with military honors, will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley.

Visitation will be from 2:30 until 3:15 PM Friday at the funeral home, prior to the service.

Memorials may be made to the Pickens County Cancer Association, P.O. Box 2611, Easley, SC 29641.

The family is at the residence.
