Ivey W. "Ike" Dillard, 87, of Tifton, died Friday, September 18, 2009, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be held at 4:00 P.M., Sunday, September 20, 2009, at Oakridge Cemetery with the Rev. J Perrin officiating.
Born July 14, 1922, in Tift County to the late W. W. Dillard and Polly Walker Dillard, Mr. Dillard was also preceded in death by his wife, Jewel Weldon Dillard; his second wife, Hazel Dillard; one son, Donnie L. Dillard; one great-grandson, Wyatt Dillard; three brothers; and five sisters. Mr. Dillard was a tobacco and peanut farmer. He loved working with his cows and going to town.
