Nina Lou Dillard Barefoot

Fort Valley, GA- Nina Lou Dillard Barefoot, 87, died Thursday, December 27, 2012. Services will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, December 30, 2012, at Chamlee Memorial Baptist Church, 1502 Knoxville Street in Fort Valley with Rev. Bryan McPherson officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.

Family will greet friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM on Saturday, December 29, 2012, at Rooks Funeral Home, 213 West Church Street in Fort Valley.

Born in Vienna to the late Jake Dillard and Lillie Maude Thompson Dillard, Mrs. Barefoot was a seamtress, retired from Georgia Decor and member of Chamlee Memorial Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children, Eddy L. Barefoot of Fort Valley, Alva C. Barefoot of Perry and Clara L. Green of Summerdale, Alabama; six grandchildren; eight greatgrandchildren; one greatgreatgrandchild; sisters, Melonease Hambrick of Perry and Frankie Jones of Macon and a brother, Joseph Brown of McDonough.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Chamlee Memorial Baptist Church, 1502 Knoxville St., Fort Valley, GA 31030.

Rooks Funeral Home in Fort Valley is in charge of arrangements.
