Martha Estelle Dillard Bridges
ELLAVILLE Mrs. Martha Estelle Dillard Bridges, 85, of 623 Bridges Store Rd., Ellaville, died early Monday morning, April 10, 2006, at The Medical Center in Columbus. Funeral services will be held a t 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 12, at Concord United Methodist Church with burial to follow in the Ellaville Cemetery. The Rev. Graton Helms and the Rev. Brooks Partain will officiate.
Mrs. Bridges was born July 22, 1920, in Marion County and was the daughter of Joseph Emmett Dillard and Nettie Eunice Bryan Dillard. She was a homemaker and had lived in Schley County all of her married life. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She was an active member of Concord United Methodist Church and a very active participant of the Ellaville-Schley County Senior Citizens Center. Mrs. Bridges was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. J.R. Bridges, in 1994.
Visitation will be held 6 - 8 p.m. tonight at Watson-Giddens Funeral Home in Ellaville. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Concord United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 22, Ellaville, GA 31806 o r to the Ellaville-Schley County Senior Citizens Center, P.O. Box 144, Ellaville, GA 31806.
