Born in Savannah, TN. Alice is survived by her mother, Ruth Coon of Antioch, daughter Michaele McGee and son Lenny Costa.
Alice also leaves behind her brothers Frank, Charlie and Jim Coon, 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her daughter Renea Hart and father Earl Coon.
Known for her unique sense of humor and practical jokes, she inspired many belly laughs.
For many years Alice served as a broker for Coldwell Banker Coon & McCreary Realtors. Many of today's leading realtors gained their skills through Alice's tutelage.
While incredibly creative with baking pastries and painting with acrylic and water colors, Alice also held a 5th degree black belt in Karate. She was fearless, tenacious, strong and a kind loving wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, friend and mentor missed by many.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 24, 2016 at 11:00am at Ouimet Bros. Concord Funeral Chapel, 4125 Clayton Road, Concord, CA 94521. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
