Jennie D. Butler, age 100, formerly of Canton, passed away Thursday, October 17th at Marion Gardens, Carneys Point where she resided for the last 3 & 1/2 years. Born in Canton she was the daughter of the late Harry and Viola Van Note Donelson.

Mrs. Butler was a Stanley Home Product's Sales Representative for 16 years and co-founder of Butler Gardens. She enjoyed Christian music, teaching Sunday School and spent many hours crocheting. Mrs. Butler attended Bridgeton High School.

She is survived by her three children, Wayne Butler (Dot), Rodney Butler and Beverly Harasta (Joe); 9 grandchildren, Pam, Tom, Karen, Rodney Jr., Debbie, Michael, Patricia, Steven and Joe; 15 great grandchildren and 8 great, great grandchildren. Mrs. Butler is predeceased by her husband, Earl; brother, Harry; sister, Hazel; and daughter-in-law, Leona. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to everyone at Marion Gardens and Caring Hospice Services for the excellent care which was over and above the family's expectations.

Services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 23rd in WOODSIDE FUNERAL HOME, 613 Salem-Quinton Rd., Rt. 49, Quinton Twp. where friends may call after 10:00 AM. Burial will be in Canton Baptist Cemetery.
