AHRENS, Roberta "Lynn" age 56 of Kettering, formerly of Miamisburg, passed away Sunday, February 27, 2011 at Miami Valley Hospital South, Centerville. Lynn was born June 29, 1954 in Dayton to the late Kenneth W. Downing and her mother, Bertha (Hinkle) Downing of Miamisburg.
In addition to her mother, Lynn is survived by her aunts, Cleda Riley of Fairborn and Juanita Hinkle of Beavercreek; her uncle Will Clark Hinkle of Hinkle, KY and numerous cousins. Lynn was a 1972 graduate of Miamisburg High School and enjoyed a 34-year career in assembly at General Motors. She was also employed at W.T. Grants in Miamisburg for a time. Lynn was a former member of the Jaycees and attended the Harmony Baptist Church of Dayton. She loved to decorate her home, especially for the holidays.
Family will receive friends at GEBHART-SCHMIDT-PARRAMORE Funeral Home, Miamisburg. Funeral services by Pastor Tim Hamilton of Northridge Freewill Baptist Church. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Cemetery, Miamisburg.
