Mrs. Nell Casey, 94, of Siena Nursing Home, Dayton, and formerly of 471 W. Main St., died Sunday at 6:35 at her residence.
Born April 10, 1885, in Xenia, she was the daughter of Michael and Brigid Gillespie Downs. Formerly employed by the Old McClellan Hospital in Xenia, she was a member of St. Brigid Catholic Church and a resident of Xenia since 1939.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Ida Downs, of Xenia; five nieces and one nephew.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Neeld Funeral Home, and a wake service will be at 7:45 p.m.
Mass of the Christian burial will be held at St. Brigid Catholic Church Wednesday at 10:30 a.m., with Rev. Robert Vin Holle officiating. Burial will be in St. Brigid Cemetery.
