Also surviving are her daughter, Kay Warth, of Chillicothe; grandsons, John (Lisa) Warth, of Frankfort and Michael (Lisa) Warth, of Chillicothe; four great-grandchildren, Joe, Kacie, Amanda and Matthew, who lovingly called her "Nanny down the Street".; sisters, Opal (Floyd) Fauble, of Lancaster, Caroline Whalen, of Wellston, Nancy Riley and Jane (Paul) Miller, both of Chillicothe; a brother Thomas (Louise) Downs, of TX; and many nieces, nephews and cousins and Joyce Norris and Judy Davis, who she fondly called her "other daughters." She was preceded in death by brothers, Wesley and James Downs: sisters, Margaret Boystel, Florence McDaniel, Mary Austin and Violet "Bea" Graves and son-in-law, Joseph Warth.
Eva retired from the Citizens National Bank, where she had been a teller, from 1954 till 1987. She was a Master Beta Sigma Phi for 48 years, having received the honor of Woman of the Year in 2006. Eva loved people and had many very special friends in her life, especially her special neighbors in the Philclaire addition. She will be sadly missed by her loving family and friends.
Services were entrusted to Ware Funeral Home of Chillicothe, Ohio.
