Mildred was a longtime member of the Grange. She did a lot of tatting and even taught tatting. She enjoyed camping and fishing, and spent many winters in Zephyrhills, Florida. She enjoyed her trips to Alaska, Arizona, Idaho and Spain.
She is survived by three children; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and her parents, she was predeceased by three brothers and a sister.
A graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery, Lee, with the Rev. Mitch Bickford officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to either the Springfield Congregational Church or the Lee Baptist Church. (Bangor Daily News 9/15/2014 & Clay Funeral Home)
